Dear customers – please, read it carefully!

These terms and policies are binding on both parties regulating the buyer and the seller rights, obligations, purchase of the goods and payment deadlines, delivery and return, both party liability and other terms relating to the purchase, service provided and selling from Denis Cherevichnik

The buyer agrees to these terms and conditions by placing an order in the online store or by calling the reservation number. The seller has the right to change the terms, taking into account the statutory provision’s requirements. The buyer is informed about this via the online store or by e-mail.

The purchase / sale agreement is signed when the customer confirms the order through the online store or via the reservation number through e-mail (phone).

Disclaimer (Legal Statement)

By placing an order with the Navaja.eu of the Internet, the customer verifies that they are over 18 years of age and are aware of all local, state and federal laws regarding the possession or carrying of the products they are ordering. Denis Cherevichnik shall be held blameless for any infraction of laws by the purchaser.

We reserve the right to refuse service at our own discretion.

Customs Issues:International orders are shipped at the customer's risk. By placing an international order, the customer assumes all risk of confiscation en route. If customs should confiscate or return the merchandise to us, the customer is still responsible for all shipping charges including return shipping charges.

Agreement: Denis Cherevichnik does not warrant that a person or company may legally sell, purchase, possess, or carry any and all items offered according to federal, state, or local laws. These items include, but are not limited to pocket knives, switchblades, knuckle knives, items having concealed blades, and double edged blades. We feel it is extremely important to comply with guidelines established by state laws. By purchasing any item from Denis Cherevichnik , the buyer warrants that he is in compliance with all federal, local, state and international laws and is legally able to purchase these items.

Knives can be dangerous if improperly handled. Keep away from children. I strongly recommend that items purchased from the Denis Cherevichnik of the Internet not be sold to minors without parental permission.

Denis Cherevichnik will not be liable for any damage or injury as a result from use or misuse of any cutlery products. It is the responsibility of the buyer/owner to handle cutlery he/she purchases with care and its intended use as a tool.

SALES AND RETURN POLICY

All "Dionisio Zapatero" knives are 100% handcrafted in Riga (Latvia, EU) with no exceptions. I only use American and European steel (French, German etc) produced and sold in USA and EU.

The pictures you see will be of the knife you will be purchasing. I don't alter my pictures in photoshop, they are taken straight from the camera under studio lighting from different angles. If you require further photos or videos of our knives, please contact us at: info@navaja.eu

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return within 48 hours for a full refund minus shipping, credit card, bank, and/or Paypal fees. As per PayPal’s Policies in the event of a refund PayPal fees are non-refundable. I understand it is sometimes not so easy to select handmade items such as custom knives just based on photos and description on the web. Therefore, i offer a two-day inspection period. After the inspection period, i cannot accept items for return. If you feel you must return or exchange a knife, you must first contact me with-in two days inspection period to receive return instructions before returning any merchandise. Do not send it back without my written confirmation.

Returned item must be exactly in the same condition as it was shipped to you with all packaging, documentation, and materials. Do not send back items that you have carried, scratched, or modified. I will return any products that show wear, carry, or modification. I strongly advise that your return includes full insurance, adequate packaging, and signature confirmation. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Please, provide a reason for the return. In cases of “buyers remorse”, or if returns are deemed as inappropriate, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied. A 5% order cancellation / restock fee will be assessed to any order placed and then subsequently cancelled before shipping.

I will not ship my products to third parties for engraving, scrimshaw, custom sheaths, or other alterations.

Refund will be returned to the same method of payment used to make your purchase, or via email in accordance with a written agreement.

I ship worldwide.

All items are shipped via Latvian Post Registered Airmail (requires a signature) or EMS unless other arrangements have been made prior to purchase. Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout.

Please, contact me for DPD, DHL, FEDEX or any other express service shipping rates.

All items are shipped from Riga (Latvia, EU).

I do not ship on holidays, Saturday or Sunday. If you place your order for expedited shipping on a weekend or holiday, the order will be processed on the next available business day

I do not give, rent or loan any identifiable personal information to any third parties unless you have authorized us to do so or we are legally required to do so.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Thank you for choosing my knives store! My custom handmade knives are one-of-a-kind blend of the most finest modern steels, and traditional ancient craftsmanship. Each of my custom knives has been made, assembled, finished, and sharpened by hand in-house.

Your knife is warranted to be free from defects in craftsmanship and materials by Denis Cherevichnik. Warranty for all my custom knives is 2 years.

Guarantee coverage:

Warranty covers metal parts and work only.

I cannot guarantee natural handle materials (wood, horn, stag, bone, mother of pearl atd.) as they tend to shrink and/or swell with time, climate, etc.

This warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by neglect, misuse\abuse, or failure to perform normal maintenance. Natural handle materials (bone, pearl, wood, etc.) are not covered. Handle and blade finishes or coatings worn by normal use are also not covered. Blades harmed or broken by improper sharpening or accidental damage are not covered. Any owner`s or third party modifications are not covered and may void the warranty.

Damage caused by improper customer disassembly is NOT covered under warranty. Cost to repair damaged knives after inspection will be at the discretion of Denis Cherevichnik

PLEASE, NOTE:

For your custom knife maintenance i strongly recommend to use a machine or gun oil to lubricate the pivot area. It will help your knife to operate properly and smoothly.

Please, don`t forget about proper use of your custom knife. Do not try to use your custom knife as a punch, screwdriver, chisel, pry bar or can opener. There are specialized tools designed for these purposes.

Don`t try to punch with your custom knife the car hood, or to imitate other advertising tricks from different commercials.

Do not throw your custom knife - there are special fixed knives designed specifically for throwing.

Do not open your folding custom knife with a flicking - it will lead to damage, sooner or later. This is particularly true for the large folders, with a long and heavy blades. Flicking is the main reason for backlash and blade play.

Please, remember:

Wash your carbon steel blade after use - especially when dealing with aggressive environments (lemon etc). When storing a knife with a carbon steel blade - even if stored in a sheath - lubricate the blade with a thin layer of oil. By the way - knives made of carbon steel are better not stored in leather sheaths. Many types of leather undergo chemical treatment and contain aggressive substances that contribute to pitting and corrosion.
And remember - there is no 100% stainless steel. "Stainless" simply means that it is less prone to corrosion than other steels. Therefore, do not forget to wipe your stainless steel knife blade dry after use too, and to lubricate the blade while storing, as well.
