In the second half of 19th century in Thiers (France) there were founded a few brands with a Spanish-sounding names, focused on the Spanish market. Among the most famous can be called "Valero Jun Zaragoza", "Navajas de Toledo" , "Toledo", "Haudeville en Albacette"and so on.

Blade: 180 x 32 x 4 mm. Austrian Bohler N690 st. steel. Hardness: 60 HRC
Full flat grind.
Blade finish: longitudinal hand sanding (satin)
Bolster, butt: solid brass
Liners: st. steel 420 (France). Hardness: 49-50 HRC
Handle scales: stabilized Japanese elm burl
Blade axis: 4 mm. Hardened to 55-56 HRC
