Navajas "Valero Jun Zaragoza" were made in Thiers (France) in the second half of 19th century, mostly for the Spanish market.
The main difference between the Spanish and French types, is a use of liners, and also the bolster and the butt from the solid piece of metal.
Closed: 200 mm
Blade: 157 х 25 х 4 mm. Austrian st. steel Bohler N690.
Hardened to 60 HRC. Full flat grind. Hand longitudinal sanding
Spring: st.steel 1.4034. Locking system "de ventana" with the pull ring and "carraca" (ratchet)
Liners: st. steel 1.4034. Hardened to 54-55 HRC
Bolster and butt: st. steel 1.4034. "Queue de crotale" (rattlesnake tail) style
Scales: stabilized walnut burl
Inlay: 925 silver Spanish 1 real coins with a queen Isabel II of Spain. Exact handmade replicas of our production
